A short history

Over sixty years ago, in season 1961/62, Kissing Point Cricket Club entered its first Junior teams in the Hornsby Kuring-gai Cricket Association. Our senior teams started playing the following season.

Located in South Turramurra, with a clubhouse at Auluba Oval, we are regarded as one of the most inclusive clubs in the Northern Metro Sydney area. We have junior teams, including two girls teams, from age 7 and up, senior teams for all skill levels and a fantastic Cricket Blast program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10.

Our home grounds are Auluba Oval, Turramurra Memorial Park, Howson Oval, Karuah Park and Comenarra Oval.

Season 24/25

We hope all of our valued members have enjoyed their cricket this season. The club would like to extend a massive thanks to all of the volunteers and players in our club.

The Finals

Congratulations to our 2024/25 season finals teams. Our U15s finished as Minor Premiers and our U17s finished 2nd, both making it through to their respective Grand Finals. This was the second consecutive Grand Final for U15s having won last season and the second Grand Final in three seasons for our U17s age group.

Unfortunately we couldn't bring home the silverware, but both teams deserve a massive congratulations given the tightness of our playing numbers in the older age groups for season 24/25.

Our U15/16 Girls finished 4th and made it through to their Semi Final in the NSJCA Stage 2 competition. The team improved with every game they play and we congratulate them for their season.

In Seniors, our B1 team finished up 4th and also made it through to their Semi Final.

We look forward to going one better in season 25/26!

Volunteers Needed

We are always looking for and welcome new parents and players to take up roles within the club. Some roles can be shared. Are you interested and want to contribute to your local cricket club? Read more here.

Junior Cricket Philosophy

At Kissing Point Cricket Club we believe that Junior cricket should provide all players with an equal opportunity to play cricket.

Winning games, whilst valued, is not the primary objective. We aim to ensure each player has a positive experience where they gain skills and make new friends regardless of a match result. By doing so we encourage players to return the following season, strengthening our club culture in the process.

We strive to create not only great cricketers but also great sports-people, competitors and team mates by providing opportunities for every player on their cricketing journey.

Junior cricket relies on a strong relationship between players, coaches, managers, parents and the Kissing Point Cricket Club, all contributing and working together to create a great experience for everyone involved.
