A short history

Over sixty years ago, in 1961/62, Kissing Point entered its first Junior teams in the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Cricket Association. Our senior teams started playing the following season.

Located in South Turramurra, with a home ground at Auluba Oval, we are regarded as one of the most inclusive clubs in the Northern Metro Sydney area. We have junior teams, including two girls teams, from age 7 and up, senior teams for all skill levels and a fantastic Cricket Blast program for girls and boys aged 5 to 10.

Volunteers Needed

Kissing Point Cricket Club is run entirely by volunteer parents and players. If you see an area of the club that needs attention or assistance, you can put your hand up to help by contacting the club President.

We are always looking for and welcome new parents and players to take up roles within the club. Some roles can be shared. Are you interested and want to contribute to your local cricket club? Read more here.

Junior Cricket Philosophy

At Kissing Point Cricket Club we believe that Junior cricket should provide all players with an equal opportunity to play cricket.

Winning games, whilst valued, is not the primary objective. We aim to ensure each player has a positive experience where they gain skills and make new friends regardless of a match result. By doing so we encourage players to return the following season, strengthening our club culture in the process.

We strive to create not only great cricketers but also great sports-people, competitors and team mates by providing opportunities for every player on their cricketing journey.

Junior cricket relies on a strong relationship between players, coaches, managers, parents and the Kissing Point Cricket Club, all contributing and working together to create a great experience for everyone involved.
