If your son or daughter cannot find a Junior team or they do not wish to play in the Junior competition, they may like to play in a Senior team.
In all seasons we have a number of Under-14 players and older playing in all senior grades, A to D.
Casual matches
Throughout the season there are opportunities for our U14 and older players to play in Senior teams on a casual basis to fill vacancies.
There is no extra registration charge for a registered junior player to play in a Seniors team on a one-off basis.
Players wanting to play on a one-off basis will need a PlayHQ permit to for the Senior Competition, contact the registrar for more information.
Full Time registrations
When a player has decided to play full time in the Senior Competition, please use the Senior registration form to register. Choose the "(Under 18)" registration option and proceed with payment including any KPCC products you need.
Parents are most welcome to register to play as well (you know you want to!).
What happens after registration
Above all, we want younger players enjoying their cricket. Team/grade selections will be based on consultation with parents, players, Junior coaches, managers, our Senior VP and our Junior VP. Past performance in the Junior competition is an indicator of grade selection but not the only indicator.
Players may move up or down a grade (depending on their player rating and availability of places) to ensure they are enjoying their time playing cricket for our club.
Once selected, parents and participants will be notified of their squad.
Match Day
Our Senior cricket is adult-level cricket, with at least 70 overs bowled in a day for One-day matches (80 in A Grade). Games start at 12, 12:30 or 1pm and go through to 6 or 6:30pm. Please be at the match at least 30 minutes before commencement.
All players registered into Senior teams are expected to adhere to the Senior selection policy.
The contact person for all questions related to junior players playing in the senior competition is our Junior VP. Registration questions & issues should be directed to the club Registrar.
