Fee changes

After a few years holding registration fees steady, the committee has made the decision to increase fees by approximately 5% to cover costs and to ensure that the club remains financially stable.

In addition to this there are a few other changes:

  1. Senior competition only - HK&HDCA has added a fee of $10 to cover the increased cost of ground bookings. You will see this reflected on your registration checkout and invoice.
  2. Cricket Australia has increased their portion of the Cricket Blast fee by $5, KPCC has absorbed this rise, so the fee for Cricket Blast remains the same.
  3. Senior competition only - KPCC will not offer Part-Time registrations this season. Once the season opens the club will offer per-game casual registrations and game packs.

Our senior fee includes entry to the Senior Presentation Evening in 2025, valued at $50.

Please see below for our fees for the season.

Registration refresher

If you are new to registering to cricket, or just need a refresher, here's a quick primer:

  • PlayHQ handles all registrations for the season.
  • All Cricket Support is via the Cricket Australia support system
  • If you don't have a PlayHQ account, you need to create a new PlayHQ account. If you have forgotten your password, try using the "Forgot password?" link on the login page.
  • Parents/Guardians should register themselves, then add children/dependents once registered.
  • If you are new to cricket registration, you will be asked to create a Cricket ID, which is your Cricket Australia universal login (this is an email address, not the old MyCricketID which is a number).
  • If you are a parent who is also playing in seniors, you can register to play at the same time
  • If you want to coach or manage, please register (for free) using that option in PlayHQ as it allows us to allocate you to a team easily. This can also be done directly to the team before season start.
  • Each registration is processed separately.
  • Registration fees will include the compulsory Cricket Australia National Registration Fee (NRF), covering technology improvements and insurance
  • If you are eligible for one, make sure you have your Active Kids Voucher number ready.
  • PlayHQ handles all payments, you will receive information via email from PlayHQ after registration.
  • Merchandise such as club shirts and caps will be fulfilled separately by Kingsgrove Sports this season.

Merchandise

Visit our merchandise page for all the latest information about purchasing KPCC shirts, caps and training gear.

Junior age groups

Players automatically qualify for their age group if they are under the age of the group at 31st August 2024.

Example: a player aged 12 on 31st August 2024 would qualify to play in U13, but not U12. A player turning 13 on 31st August 2024 or after would automatically qualify for U14.

Age dispensations are permitted upon request. Parents should email a request for this in the first instance to [email protected] detailing the reasons and the player's playing history. A submission will be made to the association, which will grant or deny age dispensations after review.

Stage-base teams, such as Stage 1 and Stage 2 Girls cricket are based on skill levels rather than age, and as such the age guides are an approximation.
